With all the variables involved in managing the accounts of clients, it is sometimes necessary to make a single change to multiple invoices. The batch update other invoices feature allows you to selectively update specific fields for a invoices that fall within a specified range.
NOTE: There is no "UNDO" function for batch updates, so take care to confirm you have made the appropriate selections before saving the batch update.
How to batch update an invoice:
1. Click on an invoice # or invoice icon to open the View Invoice page.
2. Make the appropriate change to the individual invoice.
3. Scroll down the Batch Update Other Invoices setting and select Yes. New selections for the batch update setting will display.
4. Select the appropriate Range and Fields to Batch Update.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Invoice page and click Save.
NOTE: Batch updating only updates existing invoices within the range you select. Invoices created after the update will not reference the update, so make sure to update default client info to reflect any changes you want to see on future invoices.
