The general settings detailed below can be found and adjusted by going to Settings > Client Portal Settings > Billing.
Note: Some portal settings can be overridden for an individual client by going to Portal Permissions from a client's Overview page.
Allow Making Payments*
Allows clients to make payments on the client portal through your established means.
Selecting No will disable/hide the Make a Payment page on the portal.
Can enter any Payment Amount
Allows clients to manually enter the amount they wish to pay when making payments through the client portal.
Selecting No will limit the client to only making a payment that matches the current client responsibility balance.
Can make payment on specific Invoice
Enables a Make Payment button on the portal when a client viewing a specific invoice - when that button is used, the system will automatically assign the payment to that specific invoice.
Auto-assign Payment to oldest unpaid Invoice(s)
(Not recommended for practices that use insurance)
Allows the system to automatically assign general portal payments to oldest invoices where balances are unpaid.
