CounSol User Guide

 

You can subscribe to your CounSol calendar from most calendar applications on any device.  Subscribing allows CounSol to automatically send a record of every booked event (session/flextime) to an external calendar in a one-way sync - this means all events booked within the CounSol system will display on your external calendar, but changes made to your external calendar will not come into CounSol.

 

ANDROID/GOOGLE User Tip: iOS/Mac systems have a feature that allows control over when/how often the calendar syncs to iCalendar app on their devices. This feature is not offered on Google or Android calendars, and therefore your calendar may be slow/sporadic in transferring data to your calendar.  You may benefit from downloading an app such as ICSdroid (Android) or a similar app that gives you control over sync frequency.

How to sync your CounSol.com calendar to calendars outside the system:

 

1. Select the Calendar icon and then click on the Subscribe tab.

 

 

2. On the Subscribe Calendar page, Copy your unique URL listed below Subscribe Calendar URL.

 

Note: The image below is an example, you must copy your unique URL listed on your personal calendar subscribe page.

 

 

 

3. Follow the directions for your specific device or calendar program listed below:

 

 

Note: Programs and operating systems update frequently.  The directions below may not be accurate if you are using a newer or older version of the calendar program for your device. A quick online search for "subscribe to calendar <your calendar program name>" will yield the most up-to-date instructions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: Please remember that for security reasons this is an outgoing sync only. Appointments added to outside calendars will not sync into CounSol.com
