For clients that receive a rate other than your default rate (discounts, sliding scale, etc.) you can assign a non-default rate to those specific clients so invoices for sessions booked for or by those clients will automatically reflect the assigned rate instead of the default.
Note: You must first have all appropriate rates added in the Rates area prior to assigning a non-default rate to an individual.

Troubleshooting Client Rates:
Common issues with client rates
Invoices showing $0 instead of established rate:
If invoices are being prepopulated with $0 instead of one of your saved rates it means you have either:
1. No default rates assigned to a Rule
2. More than one default rate assigned to a Rule
Go to Practice > Rates and look to make sure you have one (and only one) default rate assigned to each rule.
Invoices showing the wrong rate for a client:
First check the client's assigned rates (click the Rates tab in the client's chart) to see if the client has been assigned an alternative rate. If the rate assigned is the wrong rate for that client, select the appropriate rate from the rate dropdown menu for the appropriate rule, then click Save Rates.
If the client is not assigned an incorrect rate, it means you have either:
1. No default rates assigned to a Rule
2. More than one default rate assigned to a Rule
Go to Practice > Rates and look to make sure you have one (and only one) default rate assigned to each rule.
